CAMPBELL — The Campbell School District will serve as host of a boys and girls basketball jamboree on Thursday.
All games will be composed of three six-minute quarters.
The boys teams are Campbell, Holcomb and St. Paul Lutheran is driving down from Farmington. Campbell’s girls will be joined by Advance and North Pemiscot.
Personal fouls will not be tallied, only team fouls, per Campbell athletic director/head boys basketball coach Steve Fowler.
There will be six minutes of warm-up time between games.
The Campbell High School, Campbell Junior High and Campbell Elementary Schools all will perform routines between games.
Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students.
Concessions will be available.
Here’s the schedule:
4 p.m., North Pemiscot vs. Campbell, girls
4:45 p.m., St. Paul Lutheran vs. Campbell boys
5:30 p.m., North Pemiscot vs. Advance, girls
6:15 p.m., St. Paul Lutheran vs. Holcomb, boys
7 p.m., Advance vs. Campbell, girls
7:45 p.m., Holcomb vs. Campbell, boys
EAST CARTER
WELCOMES CLARKTON
ELLSINORE — The East Carter High School boys basketball team will welcome Clarkton for a jamboree on Thursday.
Each game will feature three six-minute quarters, with a five-minute warm-up between games.
Water and locker rooms will be provided to the teams.
Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.
Former Senath-Hornersville head coach Curt Penn is now the head coach at East Carter.
Marquand-Zion also has a home game scheduled Friday evening versus Cooter.
Here’s the schedule:
5:30 p.m., East Carter vs. Clarkton
6:15 p.m., Clarkton vs. Marquand-Zion
7 p.m., East Carter vs. Marquand-Zion
KENNETT GIrLS
The Kennett High School girls basketball team will serve as host of a three-team jamboree set for Thursday Nov. 16.
Here’s the schedule:
6 p.m., Kennett vs. Holcomb
6:30 p.m., Holcomb vs. Twin Rivers
7 p.m., Twin Rivers vs. Kennett
Kennett will wear a black uniform, Holcomb purple and Twin Rivers white.
Admission is $3 per person, and a full concession stand will be available. Warm-up basketballs will be provided.
Each team will play two, eight-minute quarters. The clock will stop appropriately, according to an email received from athletic director James Vaughan.
Each team will receive two timeouts.
