Southeast Missouri State University's men's and women's cross country teams will host the Southeast Invitational today at Capaha Park.

The women's race will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the men's race set for 11. Other teams competing today will be Murray State, Tennessee-Martin, Arkansas State, Memphis and Lambuth.

Also today, there will be two races for the community. At 10 a.m., an Elementary Mile Run will be held for all boys and girls in grades one through six. And at about 11:30, there will be a 3.1-mile open run for any runner from the junior high level on up.

Awards will be given to the top finishers and all finishers will receive a free ticket to today's Southeast vs. Tennessee State football game at Houck Stadium.
