Notre Dame pitcher Jeremy Brinkmeyer remained undefeated as the Bulldogs baseball team edged visiting North County 4-2 Thursday afternoon on senior day.

Notre Dame (15-6) has won 11 of its last 12 games.

Brinkmeyer improved to 7-0 by scattering nine hits over seven innings. He struck out four.

Shane Menz led Notre Dame (15-6) with two hits.

Caleb Guilliams won on the mound and had two hits to lead Delta (5-9) to a road win.

Guilliams pitched six innings, striking out nine and allowing one earned run off six hits.

Austin Morrison suffered the loss for Oak Ridge despite giving up just five hits. Johnnie Price and Brian Ruesler had two hits apiece for the Bluejays (7-10).

East Prairie pitcher Ben Walters threw a one-hitter to beat visiting Oran.

Walters struck out 12.

Chase Seyer allowed only three runs and seven hits in the loss for Oran (15-7).

East Prairie clinched the Scott-Mississippi Conference title with the victory.

St. Vincent 19, Leopold 7, 5 innings

St. Vincent needed two more innings to finish off Leopold in the suspended Oak Ridge Tournament championship game, ending the contest in five innings with the mercy rule.

The game began last month but was suspended by darkness and scheduled for the two teams' regular-season meeting.

The Indians (8-11) slammed 20 hits on Leopold, who came up with only two of its own.

Alex Armbruster went 4-for-5, while Joey Guilliams and Greg Finger had three hits apiece. Waylon Richardet, Brian Buchheit, Luke Guyot and Anthony Brown each added two hits. Richardet had a home run, and Greg Finger had four RBI.

Finger pitched four innings for the win.

Leopold 7, St. Vincent 6, 8 innings

Leopold scored five runs in the seventh and eighth innings combined to come back from a 6-2 deficit and beat St. Vincent at home.

Pitcher Eric Seiler hit a single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to drive in the game-tying run and give the Wildcats (9-8) a chance at the win. Leopold then scored in the bottom of the extra frame to claim the victory. Victor Vandeven had two hits for Leopold.

For St. Vincent (8-12), which took advantage of five Leopold errors, Joey Guilliams had two hits.

GIRLS SOCCER Notre Dame 2, Farmington 1, OT

Meridith Medlin scored twice to lead Notre Dame past visiting Farmington on senior night.

Medlin was assisted by Allie Essner 12 minutes into the game, then Lauren Mehner and Destiny Dirnberger teamed up to feed Medlin for the game-winning goal seven minutes into overtime.

The Bulldogs, who lost 3-0 to Rockwood Summit on the road Tuesday night, improved to 12-9-3.

St. Pius 5, Perryville 0

Perryville was shut out by the state's top-ranked Class 1 team, St. Pius of Festus.

Chastity Marr made 15 saves in goal for the Pirates (9-11).
