Johnson played four mostly disappointing seasons with the Bills after spending the first three years of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

While he's thrown for 5,166 yards with 29 touchdowns and 20 interceptions as a pro, injuries and inconsistency prevented him from fulfilling expectations as the Bills' quarterback of the future.

Despite making the playoffs four of the past five seasons under Tony Dungy, the Bucs fired the defensive-minded coach because of the club's shortcomings on offense.
