Cambron Womack had two triples and drove in three runs as Cape Ford and Sons American Legion Post 63 defeated Eureka Post 77 11-1 in five innings and earn a split of their doubleheader Saturday at Capaha Field.

Calvin Lovig also tripled and scored three runs as Post 63 improved to 2-1 on the season. Drew Bartels added two hits to make a winner of starting pitcher J.C. Chapman.

Post 63 dropped the first game 7-4. Sean Murley went 3 for 4 and scored twice, while Trevor Propst took the loss on the mound.

Junior Legion

Cape Plaza Tire Post 63 dropped an 11-2 decision to Sikeston on Saturday at the Jackson Memorial Day Tournament.

Nick Jones drove in both of Post 63's runs, while Tyler Essner was tagged with the loss on the mound.

Post 63 fell to 1-2.
