Crusaders advance to title game in their holiday tournament

The Saxony Lutheran boys basketball team won its second consecutive game in the round-robin portion of its own Christmas tournament, routing Zalma 72-40 Thursday night.

The Crusaders (7-1) advance to play at 7:30 p.m. Saturday for the championship of the six-team event. Their opponent will be determined tonight.

Alex Jauch led the Crusaders with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Ben Courtois added 14 points.

Kevin Walker paced Zalma with 11 points. Colton Bailey added 10.
