The victorious Red team had to survive a last-second tying shot in regulation and a 1-minute overtime to post the 27-26 victory.

South Elementary School teacher Zach Walton, also the high school soccer coach, hit a 3-point bank shot from the top of the key to start the overtime for the Red team, which never trailed after that.

The Black squad had tied the game at 24-24 with 5 seconds to play in regulation on a layin by Matt Lacy, Jackson High School social studies teacher.
