The Festus American Legion baseball team won its second straight Zone 4 tournament title Saturday.

Festus beat Eureka 8-4 at the Perryville City Park to complete a 3-0 run through the tournament.

Festus (31-3) also defeated Eureka 4-1 in its opening game of the five-team, double-elimination event. The other victory came over Cape Girardeau 12-1. Cape wound up third in the tournament.

Festus advances to the state tournament that begins Thursday in Blue Springs.

Eureka finished its season at 24-7. Eureka had eliminated Cape 5-3 in Friday night's action.
