Dalhousie Golf Club hosted 28 teams in a four-person scramble Monday in its Fight Against Diabetes Fundraiser. A score of 56 took the championship flight as the team of Rob Gonzalez, Drew Weisenborn, Nick Osland and Scott Randle took the top spot. A score of 56 took the championship flight as the team of Rob Gonzalez, Drew Weisenborn, Nick Osland and Scott Randle took the top spot. The 'A' flight was captured by the quartet of Brian Farmer, Jason Isringhausen, Andy Kleinheider and Josh Kleinheider, who shot a 64. One stroke back was Pat Nenshahm, Matt Pudlowski and Mark Miner, just ahead of Mark Gehrs, Danny Stevens, Mark Lierman and Brian Billhartz.

Closest to the pin went to Mike Sharkey (3 feet, 2 inches) on No. 8, Gary Anderson (6 feet) on No. 11 and Bill Tegel (1 foot, 7 inches) on No. 13.

The long drive went to Brian Riley on No. 16 in the men's division, while Heather Wegge led the women, also on No. 16.
