"He looked pretty good. He gave us some scoring inside," said Notre Dame coach Paul Hale, whose squad has been without the 6-foot-1 Greer and 6-8 Division I recruit Ryan Willen since the start of the season.

Notre Dame (2-2) snapped a two-game streak with the help of a 28-13 scoring edge from the free-throw line.

Notre Dame took 40 free throws in a game that included 51 fouls and no 3-point shots converted.

Jackson had six event winners in the first-year program's second meet but lost a close decision to St. Louis County schools Pattonville and Parkway North.

Allison Hobbs won the 200- and 500-freestyle events, Kailin McGinnis won the 50 free and Sydney Stein won the 100 breaststroke. Jackson's relay team of Hobbs, McGinnis, Stein and Shay Loughary also won the 200- and 400-free relays.

McGinnis made a state cut with her runner-up finish in the 100 butterfly.
