There wasn't anything wrong with Central's offense Wednesday.

The Tigers scored eight goals and held off host De Soto to post an 8-6 victory in girls soccer action.

Junior Megan Daly recorded a hat trick and added two assists to pace Central (1-1).

Allie Hardesty and Emily Sheets both scored one goal and assisted on another.

Kristen Begley and Brooke Evans both scored, and the Tigers capitalized on an own goal by the Dragons.

Maria Popp earned one assist, while Apple Thomas made 16 saves to earn the win.

The Tigers dug out of an early 3-0 hole to take a 5-4 lead at halftime.

Perryville 187, St. Vincent 189, Ste. Genevieve 207

Perryville's Aaron Welker and St. Vincent's Sean Martin tied for medalist honors with 9-over-par 45s at Ste. Genevieve Country Club.

Josh Fulmer (46), Wade Lawrence (47) and Brett Schnurbusch (49) rounded out the Pirates' scoring.

Zac Carron (46), Levi Gotto (47) and Tim Schumer (51) scored for the Indians.

Myra Henson struck out three and walked two in the circle while knocking in a pair at the plate in the Bobcats' home win.

Chastity Taylor belted a double and drove in three, while Rachel Bartels also recorded three RBIs for Delta in its season opener.

Emilie Beard suffered the loss for the Blue Jays.
