Tori Duenne scored a game-high 17 points to lead the third-seeded Kelly girls basketball team to a 44-39 win over sixth-seeded Delta in a first-round game of the Lady Devil Invitational on Wednesday in Chaffee, Missouri.

The Hawks trailed 23-20 at halftime but outscored the Bobcats 24-16 in the second half to pull away with the victory.

Macey Smith finished with 11 points to pace the Bobcats.

Kelly (1-1) will take on second-seeded Oran in a semifinal at 7:30 p.m. today while the Bobcats (2-2) will face seventh-seeded Scott City in a consolation semifinal at 6 p.m. today.
