Garrett Martin smacked a double in a three-run bottom of the seventh inning allowed the Perryville baeball team to edge Dexter 6-5.

Trevor Green picked up his first win pitching. He threw 2 1/3 innings and allowed no runs or hits. He had three strikeouts and one walk.

Jason Mattison was the losing pitcher and also doubled. He threw 6 1/3 innings and gave up four earned runs with five strikeouts and five walks.

Cassidi Tomsu scored the winning goal on an assist from Rachel Crites as the Indians picked up their fifth win of the season over the Jaguars in the 13th Annual Parkway College Showcase on Saturday at the Lou Fusz Soccer Complex in Maryland Heights, Mo.

Goalkeeper Sarah Blanton snagged eight saves for Jackson (5-1-1).

The Indians tied Mary Institute & St. Louis Country Day School on Friday 0-0. Due to tight scheduling, no overtime or penalty kicks were played during any games at the tournament.

Saxony Lutheran 3, Notre Dame (St. Louis) 0

Brianna Mueller, Ashlynn Collier and Maddie Brune scored a goal apiece in Saturday's shutout of the Rebels at the Parkway College Showcase.

Brune and Tess Daniel provided an assist apiece for the Crusaders.

Saxony Lutheran defeated Parkway West 3-1 on Friday. Mueller scored two goals on assists from Daniel and Logan Meyr while Ali Galemmo netted the final goal unassisted for the Crusaders.
