The Eagles (0-8) got no closer than 18 points after that.

Augustine had nine rebounds, three assists and two steals. Jamar Smith scored 10 points, and Dee Brown had eight points and seven assists for the Illini.

The 42 points were a season low by an Illinois opponent and the fewest the Illini have allowed since an 80-37 defeat of Penn State on Jan. 21, 2004.
