Jackson's baseball team improved to 3-0 with an 11-2 rout of SEMO Conference foe New Madrid County Central at home Friday.
Jason Meystedt had a big game for the Indians, picking up a complete game win to go along with three hits, two home runs and four RBIs. Meystedt allowed five hits, struck out five and walked two on the mound.
Tyler Beussink and Rex Meyr added two hits and two RBIs for Jackson. Derrick Biri added a home run.
The Indians will play Herculaneum and Kirksville today in the Festus Tournament, which was originally scheduled for last weekend.

Notre Dame took a 4-2 lead in the seventh with two runs only to allow three runs in the bottom half of the inning to fall at the Festus Tournament.
Kirk Boeller took the loss. Boeller struck out four, walked two and allowed five hits in 6 1/3 innings.
Aaron Jenkins had two hits, including a home run for the Bulldogs (1-1). Jacob Essner added two hits.
The Bulldogs will play Parkway North today at Central then travel back to Festus to play Festus.
