FREDERICKTOWN -- Jackson High's volleyball team continued its sensational season Monday night as the Lady Indians knocked off host Fredericktown 15-12, 15-11.

Heather Brown had 19 assists, two service aces and four blocks as the Lady Indians improved their record to 23-2-2.

Chrissi Glastetter contributed seven kills and nine digs; Andrea Koepper had five kills, three blocks and eight digs; and Sara Nothdurft added six kills.

Fredericktown won the junior varsity match 15-10, 15-7.

Meadow Heights 15-15, Cape Central 4-8

Central fell to 3-13-2 by losing at home Monday night.

Jessica Balogh had four kills to lead Central while Katie Cozby added three. Setter Jessica Sims was credited with a strong performance.

Meadow Heights also won the JV match 15-1, 16-14.

Scott City 17-14-15, Chaffee 15-16-7

SCOTT CITY -- In a battle between neighboring rivals, Scott City squeezed out a three-game victory over visiting Chaffee Monday night.

Chaffee, which fell to 6-10, was led by Kate Nolen with nine kills and Jill Little with eight kills. Emily Siebert contributed 14 assists.

Scott City's JV also won in three games 12-15, 15-13, 15-3.

Cape Central 20, Sikeston 6

Jamel Austin scored two touchdowns Monday as Central's JV improved its record to 4-1 with a home victory.

Jeff Dunaway also scored a TD for the Tigers, who visit Poplar Bluff next Monday.
