Kennett Kiwanis soccer registration Aug. 22-24

The Kiwanis Soccer Club of Kennett will be conducting season registration from Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 22-24.

Registration will take place at First United Methodist Church (300 College Ave.) from 5:30-7 p.m., all three evenings.

Soccer is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 14. The age of the child is as of Aug. 1 this year. Fourteen-year-old players must be entering eighth grade.

The registration fee is $40 per player. Late registration will run after Aug. 30, with a cost of $55. The fee includes a T-shirt the player keeps.

Kiwanis program coordinator John Spielman said the season will begin Sept. 9, with games at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. in Indian Park. Games are played rain or shine.
