Four members of Chaffee's Medicap Pharmacy American Legion team recently signed to play college ball.
Perry Rice, Andrew DePeder and Garrett Cook are all headed to Central Methodist, an NAIA school in Fayette, Mo., while Adam Friga is headed to Northwest Mississippi Community College.
With the signings, 11 of Medicap Pharmacy's 13 team members are committed to play college baseball next year.
Cook and Friga both played for Oran High School. DePeder went to Notre Dame and Rice attended Chaffee. All four have been major contributors to Medicap Pharmacy's run to the state tournament.
In other recent signings, Cape Central graduate Jessica McDonald will play softball at Shawnee Community College.
Former Cape Central linebacker Casey Dwyre will play football at Lindenwood University, an NAIA school in St. Louis. Dwyre's former teammate, quarterback Frank McGinty, has decided to transfer to Lindenwood as well. McGinty spent time at Southwest and Southeast Missouri State, but did not see playing time at either school.
