ORLANDO, Fla. -- Chad Henne threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns, Mike Hart ran for 129 yards and two scores and Michigan sent Lloyd Carr out a winner Tuesday by beating No. 9 Florida 41-35 in the Capital One Bowl for its first bowl win since 2003.

Henne, Adrian Arrington and Mario Manningham torched Florida's secondary all game. Arrington caught nine passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns, and Manningham added five catches for 78 yards and a score.

The Gators (9-4) kept it close thanks to four turnovers and big plays by Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin, who ran 13 times for 165 yards and a TD, and caught nine passes for 77 yards and a score.

Florida failed to convert a fourth-down play at its 25 yard line, and K.C. Lopata's 41-yard field goal put Michigan (9-4) ahead 41-35 with 2:21 remaining.

The Gators got another shot, but Tebow threw four straight incompletions to end any chance of a comeback.

Tebow was 17-of-33 passing for 154 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran 16 times for 57 yards.

TAMPA, Fla. -- Erik Ainge threw for 365 yards and two touchdowns to keep No. 18 Wisconsin from joining Michigan as the only Big Ten teams to beat SEC opponents in bowl games three consecutive seasons.

Ainge completed 25 of 43 passes without a turnover Tuesday to win MVP honors and help the No. 16 Vols (10-4) erase unpleasant memories of a 10-point loss to Penn State in last year's Outback game.

Antonio Wardlow sealed Tennessee's first 10-win season since 2004 when he intercepted Tyler Donovan's deep throw intended for Paul Hubbard in the end zone in the final minute.

Receiver Gerald Jones took a direct snap from center and scored on a 3-yard run, then Ainge tossed TD passes of 29 yards to Josh Briscoe and 31 yards to Brad Cottam to help Tennessee build a 21-7 lead.

Donovan's 4-yard TD to Andy Crooks trimmed Wisconsin's deficit to 21-14 at the half. The Badgers (9-4) pulled within four on Taylor Mehlhaff's 27-yard field goal in the closing seconds of the third quarter.

Gator BowlTexas Tech 31,No. 21 Virginia 28

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Alex Trlica kicked a 41-yard field goal with 7 seconds left to give Texas Tech a come-from-behind victory over the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Tech overcame pivotal penalties and a fumble to come back from a 28-14 fourth quarter deficit. Its aggressive pass offense couldn't score much for three quarters, but Graham Harrell still managed to completed 44 of 69 passes for 407 yards, all records, plus three TDs.

The Red Raiders overcame a tremendous effort by Virginia tailback Mikell Simpson, who ran for 170 yards on 20 carries -- including a NCAA bowl-record 96-yard TD run -- and caught another touchdown.

Virginia's offense wasn't the same after losing Jameel Sewell at the start of the fourth quarter. His statistics weren't outstanding -- 14-of-23 passing for 78 yards and a TD -- but he commanded the offense well.

Chick-fil-A BowlNo. 22 Auburn 23, No. 15 Clemson 20, OT

ATLANTA -- Freshman quarterback Kodi Burns threw for a touchdown and scored on a 7-yard run in overtime to lead Auburn past Clemson on Monday.

After Mark Buchholz kicked a 25-yard field goal on Clemson's opening possession of overtime, Burns scored on a spinning run on a third-and-3 play.

Auburn's starting quarterback, Brandon Cox, ran for a first down on a fourth-and-1 play from the 16 to keep Auburn's overtime possession alive.

No. 22 Auburn (9-4) denied No. 15 Clemson (9-4) its first 10-win season since 1990.

Sun BowlOregon 56,South Florida 21

EL PASO, Texas -- Jonathan Stewart set a Sun Bowl record with a career-high 253 yards rushing and Justin Roper threw four touchdown passes in his first start for Oregon on Monday.

The Ducks (9-4) scored 28 straight points in the third quarter to snap a four-game postseason losing streak. Oregon made it look easy against the Bulls (9-4) in a matchup of teams that were ranked No. 2 during the season.

The Ducks won for the first time since losing quarterback Dennis Dixon to a knee injury in November, snapping a three-game losing streak even though they set a Sun Bowl record with 138 penalty yards.

Music City BowlKentucky 35, Florida State 28

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Andre Woodson threw four TD passes against a depleted Seminoles defense Monday, and the Wildcats handed Bobby Bowden his first bowl loss in December.

Kentucky hadn't ended back-to-back seasons with bowl wins since 1951 and 1952, but the Wildcats pulled off the feat in Nashville one year after surprising Clemson.

Florida State was playing three dozen players short due to injuries and suspensions stemming from an academic cheating scandal.

Woodson capitalized on the missing depth and finished the season with 40 touchdown passes, breaking Tim Couch's school-record of 37 set in 1998. It was Woodson's 19th consecutive game with at least 200 passing yards and a scoring pass.

Humanitarian BowlFresno State 40,Georgia Tech 28

BOISE, Idaho -- Clifton Smith rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns, Tom Brandstater threw for a score and ran for another and the Bulldogs beat another BCS conference team in a bowl game Monday.

Fresno State's offense was surprisingly unstoppable against a Yellow Jackets (7-6) defense that was among the best in the Atlantic Coast Conference. After punting on its opening possession, the Bulldogs (9-4) scored 27 straight points, taking a 34-14 lead midway through the third quarter.

It's Fresno State's second bowl win over Georgia Tech, beating the Yellow Jackets 30-21 in the 2002 Silicon Valley Football Classic, and it made the Bulldogs 3-0 against the ACC in bowls. Fresno State has won four of its last five bowl appearances, all four wins coming against teams from the six conferences with automatic bids to the Bowl Championship Series.

Armed Forces BowlCalifornia 42, Air Force 36

FORT WORTH, Texas -- DeSean Jackson and Robert Jordan returned from their first-quarter benchings and caught touchdown passes to help California rally from a 21-point deficit.

California (7-6), ranked No. 2 in the nation in October before losing six of seven games, managed to finish with its sixth straight winning season.

Jackson, Jordan and leading tackler Thomas DeCoud were held out of the starting lineup and didn't play the first quarter because of unspecified violations of team rules that occurred before the team got to Fort Worth for the bowl.

Helped by a botched kickoff, Air Force (9-4) led 21-0 after scoring twice in a 2-minute span early in the second quarter -- before Jackson and Jordan even got on the field.

Jordan finished with six catches for 148 yards, and Jackson caught five passes for 81 yards. Justin Forsett ran for 140 yards and two TDs on 23 carries for Cal.

Insight BowlOklahoma State 49, Indiana 33

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Zac Robinson threw three touchdown passes and ran for two more scores Monday, leading Oklahoma State past Indiana.

A sophomore making his 11th college start, Robinson completed 24 of 34 passes for 302 yards. He also threw an interception.

Dantrell Savage ran for 100 yards and a touchdown for the Cowboys (7-6, 4-4 Big 12), who matched their season-high point total.
