MINNETONKA SLIPS PAST CHAFFEE 2-0

CHAFFEE -- Minnetonka's Andy Davidson allowed just a bunt single and struck out 16 batters as the Minnesota squad defeated host Chaffee 2-0 in the Junior American Legion Mid-States Regional Tournament Saturday night at Harmon Field.

Tommy Stidham accounted for the lone hit for Chaffee (41-4), which will return to action today at 10:30 a.m. in an elimination game against Longmont, Co.

Minnetonka scored both its runs in the bottom of the fourth against losing pitcher Keith Hamm.
