Alex Heuring, Kody Moore, Bear Hicks and Dustin Gebhardt each blasted a home run as the host Eagles routed Scott County Central 17-1 in boys baseball action Wednesday afternoon.
Chance Tenkhoff was the winning pitcher. He threw two innings and gave up one run on two hits with five strikeouts.
Heuring added a triple for Oran (6-2).
Tyler Masters suffered the loss on the mound. He pitched three innings and gave up 10 earned runs on 10 hits, including two home runs, and struck out one for the Braves.

Caitlin Petty picked up her fifth win in the circle. She pitched a complete game and struck out two batters for Leopold (7-1).

Natalie Gremaud scored two goals to help the Pirates get the win in the opening round of pool play in the Hillsboro Invitational Tournament.
Brooke Hogard and Allison Moldenhauer recorded one goal and two assists each for Perryville (5-3). Emma Nelson tallied one goal while Kaitlyn Ellsworth had one assist.
Goalkeeper Miranda Stewart snagged two saves in the shutout.
The Pirates will face familiar foe Central today and will take on Maplewood-Richmond Heights Friday to conclude pool play.

Central's Pablo Jaramillo advanced to the round of 16 by defeating Grady Majors of West Plains 6-0 and William Eck of Nixa 6-0 before falling to third-seeded Chase Gordon of Jenks (OK) 4-6.
Caleb Strickland defeated Parker Smith of Poplar Bluff 6-2 before falling to Noah Chanlionaco of Catholic 4-6.
In doubles play, Ryan Watts and Andrew LaFoe defeated Hunter Gibson and Jacob Simmons of Mt. Vernon 6-1, then lost to Luke Hansen and John Nahon of Glendale 1-6. Jonah Roop and Jalen McDowell defeated Ben and Alex Hogan of Parkview 7-6 (4), then lost to Ford Duncan and Sam Wilcoxon of Joplin 5-7.
