Southeast Missouri State track and field athletes brought home eight titles from Saturday's four-team indoor meet hosted by Illinois State.

Shemeika Brewer won two events on the women's side. She captured the long jump with a personal best of 17 feet, 11 inches and the triple jump with a distance of 37-9.

Central High School product Tyler Terry led a sweep of the first three spots in the men's long jump.

Terry won with a distance of 22-3, followed by Antoine Smith (21-11) and Ryan Criglar (21-9).

Southeast swept the high jump, with Josh Sutton (6-8) and Funtasia Clark (5-3).

Audrey Harwood won the women's pole vault (10-11).

The Southeast men swept the top three finishes in the 200-meter dash led by Criglar, who won with a time of 22.52 seconds. Robert Delaria (22.64) and Myron Pettigrew (22.83) followed.

Those three runners teamed up with Joel Krause to win the 1,600 relay (3:22.69).

Yemi Oduwele captured the men's 60 (7.06).

Jackson product Rachel Kahle finished second twice, in the 60 (7.8) and the 200 (26.08).

Also second for Southeast's women were Central graduate Brianna Egbuka in the shot put (43-9) and Whitney Thomas in the 60 hurdles (9.01).

Finishing third were Precious Elliott in the 60 (7.95), Juli Koenegstein in the 3,000 (10:30.50) and the 1,600 relay team of Kahle, Melina Lewis, Travona Beard and Lashonda Conley (4:07.41).

Another second on the men's side was turned in by Nate Shipley in the mile (4:22.27).

Southeast returns to action this weekend in the Hoosier Relays hosted by Indiana.
