SEMO TO CONDUCT WIDE VARIETY OF SUMMER SPORTS YOUTH CAMPS

Southeast Missouri State University will conduct a variety of camps in various sports this summer.

Following is a rundown of the camps.

Boys Basketball

There will be five camps, for individuals and teams.

Day Camp I, for ages 6-17, will be held June 3-5. The cost is $60.

Team Camp I, for varsity and junior varsity teams, will be June 10-12. The cost is $100 for day campers and $150 for resident campers.

Individual Camp, for ages 10-17, will be June 13-16. The cost is $120 for day campers and $168 for resident campers.

Team Camp II, for teams in grades 7 through 9, will be June 29-July 1. The cost is $100 for day campers and $150 for resident campers.

Team Camp III, for varsity and JV teams, will be July 12-14. The cost is $100 for day campers and $150 for resident campers.

Day Camp II, for ages 6-17, will be Aug. 2-6. The cost is $95.

Girls Basketball

There will be four camps, for individuals and teams.

An individual skill camp, for ages 9-17, will be held June 6-10. The cost is $120 for day campers, $145 for day campers with lunch and dinner included, and $198 for resident campers with all meals included.

There will be three team camps. Team Camp I, for varsity and JV teams, will be held June 17-19. Team Camp II, for jr. high teams, will be held June 20-22. Team Camp III, for varsity and JV teams, will be held July 15-17. The cost for all the team camps is $100 for day campers and $150 for resident campers.

Football

For boys entering grades 4-12, the camp will run June 4-12 at six high schools in the region.

Camp dates are June 4 at Farmington High School, June 5 at DeSmet High School in St. Louis, June 8 at Cape Central High School, June 9 at Sikeston High School, June 11 at Gosnell (Ark.) High School and June 12 at Portageville High School.

There will be two sessions at each site, morning sessions for grades 4-8 and afternoon sessions for grades 9-12. The cost is $20 for morning campers and $25 for afternoon campers.

Volleyball

There will be three camps and two clinics.

A hitter's clinic will be June 13 and a setter's clinic will be June 14, both for girls entering grades 7-12. The cost is $40 for each clinic.

All-skills camps will be held June 23-25 for girls entering grades 6-8 and June 26-28 for girls entering grades 9-12. The cost is $90 for day campers and $125 for resident campers.

A team camp for high school teams will be held July 8-10. The cost is $90 for day campers and $125 for resident campers.
