The Southeast Missouri State gymnastics team completed its 2017 recruiting class with the signing of Charlee Miller on Thursday.

Miller attended Zephyrhills High School in Florida and competed for the Tampa Bay Turners Gymnastics.

"We are so excited to welcome Charlee into our program this coming coming fall," coach Kristi Ewasko said in a press release. "As we re-evaluated some of our needs for next season, we realized that Charlee is exactly what we needed. She will not only bring three to four events to our lineups, but she will also be strong, academically."

Miller competed in the all-around for the Tampa Bay Turners in seven of 17 meets. Her career-high in the all-around is 36.950.

Miller, who earned a spot on the Junior Olympic National Team, posted a 9.550 on floor, 9.400 on vault, 9.275 on balance beam and 8.975 on uneven bars for her career highs.

"Her current vault, beam, and floor routines would have competed for us this past season," Ewasko said. "Her bars continue to improve daily, giving her an opportunity to compete as an all-around athlete."
