Southeast's rally fell short Friday against regular-season champion Morehead State. The Redhawks lost 25-18, 25-19, 14-25, 24-26, 15-9.

The Redhawks then rallied past Eastern Kentucky 24-26, 25-23, 25-22, 25-19 on Saturday.

Southeast is 12-16 overall and 10-7 in OVC play. The Redhawks are tied for third in the 11-team OVC.

The Redhawks, under first-year coach Julie Folliard, virtually are assured of a berth in the six-team OVC tournament after missing the event the past two seasons.
