The St. Vincent girls basketball team knocked off Viburnun 46-35 in a Class 2 District 4 semifinal.

The St. Vincent girls reached the championship game of the Class 2 District 4 basketball tournament Thursday night with a 46-35 victory against Viburnum at the Perry Park Center in Perryville, Mo.

Chelsie Boxdorfer led the top-seeded Indians (19-5) with 15 points, while Courtney Heberlie had 12.

Kali Wingerter led the rebounding effort with 10 boards. Storm French added nine rebounds and Kayla Seabaugh had eight.

Nikki Bozic scored a game-high 18 points for fifth-seeded Viburnum.

St. Vincent will face No. 2 New Haven in today's 6 p.m. title game. New Haven handily defeated Crossroads.

The Indians, who last won the district in 2009, will be looking to avenge last year's overtime loss to New Haven in the championship game.

New Haven also will play for the championship in the boys bracket, facing Viburnum at 7:30 p.m.
