Southeast coach Julie Yankus announced that Alex Rohlfing will transfer into the program and be eligible for the 2013 season. She will have two years of eligibility at Southeast .

Rohlfing, a native of Waterloo, Ill., played the last two seasons at Division II Augusta State University in Augusta, Ga. She was the Peach Belt Conference freshman of the year in 2011 when she led the Peach Belt in kills, kills per game and points.

"We are very excited to have an experienced player like Alex join the program, Yankus said in a release.  "She has already competed at the college level for two years so I expect her to come in and elevate the skill level in the outside hitter position."

Tennis

Southeast coach Josh Moore, who recently completed his initial season, has signed his first two recruits in international players Valeriia Kashina and Annisa Warasanti.

Kashina, a native of Togliatti, Russia, achieved a top-30 national ranking and was rated first position in her city and region.

Warasanti, from Bandung, Indonesia, ranked as high as No. 4 in her country and won national championships.

"When someone [Kashina] reaches the top-30 in Russia, you know you have been tested and have a lot of ability. While Indonesia might not be as strong of a tennis country as the United States, Russia or Spain, Annisa has played for and won national titles. She possesses the ability to compete and win under pressure," Moore said in a release. "In addition to their tennis ability, both of these individuals have a lot to offer and will help us continue our academic success."

Softball

Southeast's three-game OVC series at Austin Peay scheduled for Saturday and today was been pushed back a day due to Saturday's forecast for rain in Clarksville, Tenn.

The squads will play a noon doubleheader today and a noon contest Monday.
