Weekend rains washed out virtually the entire slate of high school sports Friday and Saturday, including the SEMO Conference baseball tournament.

The tournament, slated to begin Friday, has been postponed until Monday because of rain and wet grounds.

First-round tournament games, which include Central at Jackson and New Madrid County Central at Notre Dame, will be played at 4 p.m. Monday.

Semifinal games will be played Tuesday and the championship contest is scheduled for Wednesday. Times and locations for Tuesday's and Wednesday's games have yet to be determined.
