Knights of Columbus to have pork dinner

ORAN, Mo. -- A pork steak dinner will be held at the Oran Knights of Columbus Hall from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The meal, prepared by Zeigler's Catering, will include a baked potato, coleslaw, baked beans, dessert and drink.

The cost is $5.50 in advance for adults or $6 at the door, and $2.50 in advance for children age 6 to 12 or $3 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased from any Oran Beta Club member or by calling Oran School District at (573) 262-3345.

Proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

St. Ambrose to hold sausage breakfast

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- A sausage breakfast will be held at St. Ambrose Parish Center in Chaffee from 7:30 a.m. to noon Sunday. The menu will also include eggs, biscuits and gravy. Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
