Otto Enax, 61, of Dexter, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center at Sikeston, Mo.

He was born Nov. 13, 1941, to Otto Richard Enax and Lillie Enax at Norfolk, Va.

Enax married Elaine Ann Vanderpool on Dec. 18, 1960, at Belton, Mo. She survives of the home.

He was a member of Puxico Baptist Chapel, a truck driver for Gilster-Mary Lee, and was a veteran of U.S. Army and the Missouri National Guard.

Additional survivors include three sons, Robert Enax of Sikeston, Kevin Enax Sr. of Dexter, Mo., and Otto R. Enax of Robinson, Ill.; one daughter, Deborah Becker of Topeka, Kan.; six grandchildren; one brother, Richard Enax of Virginia Beach, Va.; and one sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
