The funeral for L.C. Roebuck of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Greater Dimension Church. The Rev. Stafford Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Roebuck, 84, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at Missouri Veterans Home.

He was born May 3, 1918, at Cotton Plant, Ark., son of Robert and Lula Reynolds Roebuck. He and Ina Miller were married in December 1947 in Cape Girardeau.

Roebuck had lived in Cape Girardeau since 1947. He worked at Riverside Lumber Co. more than 30 years. He had been a member of the former True Christian Pentecostal Witness Church.

He served in the U.S. Army from May 1942 to January 1946.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Altha Robinson of Sikeston, LaWanda Kent, Joyce Kenoly and Doreatha Roebuck, all of Claremore, Okla.; a sister, Annabelle Williams of Marion, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
