SIKESTON, Mo. -- Nola E. Tidwell, 82, of Sikeston died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Marietta, Ga., daughter of John and Lucy Groover Tucker. She and Hays W. Tidwell were married April 12, 1952, at Bloomfield, Mo. He died Jan. 21, 1985...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Nola E. Tidwell, 82, of Sikeston died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Marietta, Ga., daughter of John and Lucy Groover Tucker. She and Hays W. Tidwell were married April 12, 1952, at Bloomfield, Mo. He died Jan. 21, 1985.

Tidwell was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a stepson, Carlos Tidwell of Abilene, Texas; a stepdaughter, Evelyn Stutts of Sikeston; two stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother and eight sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 10 a.m. Monday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Allen Basham officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
