Mary Louise Hager, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 2, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William and Mamie Hett Deevers. She and William Brockmire Jr. were married in 1943. He died in 1951. She and Weldon Hager were married June 17, 1961, in Cape Girardeau.
She was a Central High School graduate who worked for Farmers and Merchants Bank and later for Boatman's Bank before retiring in 1990. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Ron Brockmire of Cordova, Tenn., and Lonnie Brockmire of Farmington, Mo.; two sisters, Hilda Deevers of Cape Girardeau and Cleo Linebarger of New Orleans, La.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Douglas C. Breite officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
