Guest artist E.E. Balcos will be in residence at Southeast Missouri State University through Friday.

An expert in contact improvisation and other dance forms, Balcos will offer master classes throughout the week.

A session at 6 p.m. today will be open to the public. The class will be in Room 210 at Parker Dance Studio.

Balcos is an assistant professor at Southwest Missouri State University. He will be creating a new work that will premiere at the SiteWorks Dance Concert, which will be performed May 7 through 10 on campus, in Scott City, Cape Girardeau and Malden, Mo.

Balcos has performed with Shapiro & Smith Dance in New York and the Demetrius Klein Dance Company in Florida.
