Paul B. Kinder, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born in Marquand, Mo., son of Will and Mae Bess Kinder. He and Wilma Kirkpatrick were married Nov. 20, 1981, at Kansas City, Mo.

Kinder grew up in Bollinger County and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University. He taught school, served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Veterans Administration after 30 years and moved to Hot Springs, Ark. He was a member of Roswell United Methodist Church in Roswell, Ga.

Survivors include his wife and four stepsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. March 15 at Ford & Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ken Moxey officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
