Ward-Hanks

Shawna R. Ward and Justin H. Hanks exchanged vows Feb. 14, 2003, at First General Baptist Church in Malden, Mo. The Rev. Scott Keller performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Linda and Willard Cohen of Linn Creek, Mo., and James Ward of Malden. Steve and Marsha Hanks of Eldon, Mo., are parents of the groom.

Maid of honor was Carrie Waterman of Springfield, Mo.

Matt Hanks of Eldon served his brother as best man.

Flower girl was Taylor Hanks, daughter of the groom.

Mothers of the bride and groom were candlelighters.

Guest book attendant was Rachel Podolsky of Imperial, Mo., niece of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the church. Servers were Angie Douglass of Malden and Shelly Lane of Jackson.

Mrs. Hanks is a 1993 graduate of Central High School, and received a manicuring license in 1997 for the state of Missouri. She is employed at Windjammer Spa and Salon at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Mo.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Eldon High School. He is a millwork specialist at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse in Osage Beach.

The couple is residing in Eldon.
