Notes: Clarkton is ranked third in state while Bell City, the defending state champion, is ranked fifth; Bell City was ranked seventh and Clarkton eighth in last Southeast Missouri poll; Clarkton's only loss came to Campbell, a team it defeated twice; Clarkton is the Tri-County Conference champion, won the Tri-County Conference Tournament and Clarkton Christmas Tournament; Clarkton's Michael Ray became eligible the second semester and has averaged a double-double as the Reindeers' sixth man; both teams own victories over Bernie, Richland and Risco; Oran is only Class 1 school to defeat Bell City this year -- three of Cubs losses came to Class Class 4 schools Dexter and Notre Dame and other loss came to Class 3 Caruthersville; Bell City finished third in seMissourian Christmas Tournament, defeating Class 5 Jackson along the way; Clarkton has won 23 straight games and a school record 26 games this year.
