DEXTER, Mo. -- The funeral for Chris Cloninger of Dexter was held Monday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Richard O'Neal officiated. Burial was in Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Mo.

Cloninger, 24, died Saturday, March 8, 2003, at Dexter.

He was born Aug. 16, 1978, at Dexter, son of Roy and Lena Lewis Cloninger.

Survivors include his father of Dexter; two brothers, Jerry Simpson of Bernie, Mo., Danny Simpson of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Charlotte Bohenstiehl of Alton, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
