Two Sikeston, Mo., men are being held in the Scott County Jail on drug charges stemming from an ongoing investigation.

John A. Chadd, 42, and Donald Williams, 49, are charged with attempting to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of chemicals, ephedrine and drug paraphernalia. Bond has been set at $250,000 each.

The men were arrested Wednesday after Scott County deputies and officers with the SEMO Drug Task Force located numerous articles used in the manufacture of methamphetamine at a local motel.
