LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Southeast Missouri State University's gymnastics team finished third behind Denver and host Kentucky in a three-team meet Friday.

Denver, No. 13 nationally, finished with 195.45 points to lead Kentucky (194.7) and Southeast (192.95).

Tara Boldt's win in the all-around led Southeast's individual finishes. She scored 39.475 to finish 0.075 points ahead of second place.

Also for the Otahkians, Ashley Godwin tied for third in the floor event (9.85), while Godwin was sixth in the beam and Deanna Ogg was sixth on bars.

Southeast softball team loses tournament opener

The Otahkians lost 4-2 to Toledo in their first of two games Friday on the first day of the 24-team Winthrop Ringer Invitational at Rock Hill, S.C.

Southeast fell to 3-7 with the loss and was scheduled to play North Carolina-Greensboro in a late game.

Southeast will play two more games today, starting with Akron at noon.
