Approved a resolution to accept petition for voluntary annexation of 4.63 acres of property owned by Savannah Ridge Partners, L.P., and setting a public hearing for Monday, April 21.

Accepted the dedication of an Overhead Electric Line Easement Deed from the Jackson, Gordonville and Delta Railroad.

Accepted the bid of Townsend Tree Service Inc. of Parker City, Ind., in the amount of $62,500, under the 2003 tree trimming-west electric distribution program.

Authorized a contractual agreement with Townsend Tree Service.

Approved Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $11,574.64 with R&K Excavation Inc. relative to the Hubble Creek trunk sewer project.

Tabled a bill proposing an ordinance approving the rezoning of 3.45 acres of property along East Main Street from R-2 (single family residential) to C-2 (general commercial), as requested by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Doughten, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. John Priest.

Approved proposed amendments to the land subdivision regulations of Jackson relative to the attached single-family dwelling lot size and frontage requirements

Accepted the bid of Kluesner Concreters of Scott City for the amount of $95,909.46 relative to the South Shawnee Boulevard Improvement Project. (The project will begin June 1 and be completed within three weeks).

Authorized a contractual agreement with Kluesner Concreters.

Accepted the bid of Duracrete Inc. of Perryville in the amount of $73,581.26, relative to the 2003 Joint Maintenance Sealing Program.

Authorized a contract with Duracrete Inc.

Repealed certain stop signs on Alpine Drive and added stop signs on Aaron Drive and Aspen Drive.

Tabled a bill proposing an ordinance to add no parking signs on North Georgia Street.

Set a public hearing for April 21 to consider a special-use permit request for the establishment and operation of a cabinet manufacturing business and construction office in a C-2 (general commercial) district on Old Cape Road Circle, as submitted by Mr. and Mrs. Brad Beussink.
