PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Emelie R. Sterling, 94, of St. Charles, Mo., formerly of Perryville, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Blanchette Place in St. Charles.
She was born Dec. 14,1908, at Claryville, Mo., daughter of Capt. Ben and Corine Picou Rozier.
Sterling had been a salesclerk at Ludwig's, Goldman's, and Rudert Jewelry in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard Sterling of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Virginia Lalumondiere of St. Louis, Lucy Franklin of Perryville; two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Saturday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
