Clara Mae Toler, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 28, 2003, at her home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 8, 1941, at New Madrid, Mo., daughter of Jack and Estell Stewart Pigg. Clara Mae Toler, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 28, 2003, at her home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 8, 1941, at New Madrid, Mo., daughter of Jack and Estell Stewart Pigg.

Toler was employed at Rosie's Diner in New Madrid for 10 years. She spent 12 years as a nurse assistant at Southeast Missouri Hospital and retired in 2002. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Toler of Cape Girardeau and Lee Toler of Perryville, Mo.; six brothers, Larry Pigg of Cape Girardeau, Jack Pigg and Leonard Pigg of St. Louis, Harry Pigg of Chaffee, Mo., Donnie Stewart of Tyler, Tex., Paul Pigg of Port Orange, Fla.; a sister, Carolyn Altom of Sikeston, Mo. and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate, with burial at New Morley Cemetery, Morley, Mo.
