TAMMS, Ill. -- Hope Christina Abercrombie and Jed Stuart Mix exchanged vows Jan. 11, 2003, at Alexander Free Will Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Ill. Earnest Brown performed the ceremony. Music was by Lola Miller of Olive Branch, and vocalists were Steve and Crystal Sharp of West City, Ill.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Sharon Abercrombie of Tamms. The groom is the son of Ron and Ella Mix of Cisne, Ill.

Maid of honor was Erin Cain of Olive Branch. Bridesmaids were Rhonda Carter of Cape Girardeau; Kristen Caldwell, and Michelle Abercrombie, sister-in-law of the bride, both of Tamms.

Travis Mix of Lebanon, Ill., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were John Winters of Vienna, Ill., Chad Schuster of Sesser, Ill., and Joshua Abercrombie of Tamms, brother of the bride. Ushers were Justin Schultz of Tamms, cousin of the bride, and Tim Jaden of Cisne.

Candlelighters were Aaron Abercrombie and Carmen Mix. Aaron is the son of Jerry Abercrombie of Tamms and cousin of the bride. Carmen is the daughter of Travis Mix and niece of the groom.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Paige and Blake Abercrombie, daughter and son of the bride and groom.

Sabrina Dunston of Thebes, Ill., attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Egyptian High School. Servers were Sabrina Dunston and Martica Lancaster of Decatur, Ill., cousin of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 10 at Grecian Steak House in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Mix is a 1998 graduate of Egyptian High School, and is attending Shawnee Junior College in Ullin, Ill. She is employed at Gastroenterology Associates of Southeast Missouri in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Flora High School in Flora, Ill. He is employed at Jordan Truck Service in Tamms, and is a member of Marion National Guard.

The couple is residing in Tamms.
