Maudie Chambliss

CAIRO, Ill. -- Maudie Christine Chambliss, 100, of Cairo died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Chambliss was formerly of Mounds, Ill.

Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mound City, Ill., after 9 a.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at the church, with the Rev. Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Garden in Villa Ridge, Ill.

Massie Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
