Nancy Diane Hazelwood, 58, of Fordyce, Ark., formerly of Southern Illinois, died Thursday, May 15, 2003 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. She was born Jan. 22, 1945 in Jacksonville, Texas, the daughter of Beebe and Mirian Lawson Jr. She was married to Melvin L. Hazelwood for 36 years...

Nancy Diane Hazelwood, 58, of Fordyce, Ark., formerly of Southern Illinois, died Thursday, May 15, 2003 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.

She was born Jan. 22, 1945 in Jacksonville, Texas, the daughter of Beebe and Mirian Lawson Jr. She was married to Melvin L. Hazelwood for 36 years.

Hazelwood was a teacher and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma.

She is survived by her husband, one son Russell Hazelwood of Fordyce; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Green of Maumelle, Ark.; one brother, Jahn Lawson of Lone Star, Texas; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Johns Cemetery in Dongola.

Crain Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of the arrangements.
