Friday was a day for low scores at the Rebecca's Run women's golf tournament at Dalhousie Golf Club.

All four of the winning two-women teams in the handicap flights posted rounds of 65 or better Friday to produce victories.

Roberta Sentel and Amy King combined for a 65 and overtook Harriette Myers and Robyn Young for first place in the net championship flight.

The tournament format was played as a scramble on Thursday and handicapped best ball on Friday.

Sentel and King finished with a 134 total after scoring a 69 Thursday.

Myers and Young had rounds of 66 on Thursday and 70 on Friday for a 136 total.

The low gross winning team of Sarah Haas and Cindy Corn shot 66 and 69 for a 135 total.

In the A flight, Carol Largent and Karen Matthews scored a 63 Friday after a 75 Thursday for a 138 total. Two teams tied for second: Jennifer Coad and Terri Parmley tied with Nancy Sebastian and Pat Nasalroad at 139.

In the B flight, Eileen Owens and Deanna Estes posted a 60 Friday for a total of 142. Gal Redford and Linda Bettin, who had shot 82 Thursday to tie Owens and Estes, finished four strokes back at 146.

In the C flight, Nancy Tegler and Nancy Davidson scored a 65 Friday to finish at 148. Ann Dombrowski and Olivia Hunter finished second at 153.
