Three brought off river sandbar after boat sinks
Two adults and a child were rescued from a sinking boat Sunday. A call came into the Cape Girardeau Fire Department at 2:07 p.m. that the victims were trapped at a sandbar across from Cape Rock Point on the Mississippi River. The department's Boat 1 was sent out.
