Glenallen, Mo. -- George Franklin Dee Gipson, 72, of Glenallen died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at his home. He was born April 10, 1933, in Buckhorn, Mo., son of William and Stella Gipson. Glenallen, Mo. -- George Franklin Dee Gipson, 72, of Glenallen died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005, at his home.

He was born April 10, 1933, in Buckhorn, Mo., son of William and Stella Gipson. He and Janet Hovis were married Nov. 13, 1959, in Clubb, Mo.

Gipson was a former nailer for Lutesville Pallet Mill in Marble Hill, Mo. He was a member of New Sylvan General Baptist.

Survivors include a son, Harlan Gipson of Glenallen; four daughters, Amy Myabb and Georgie Speth, both of Glenallen, Sylvia Crader of Marble Hill, and Lana Tooman of Cascade, Mo.; and a brother, Leo Gipson of Marquand, Mo.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Sheldon Owens officiating. Burial will be in New Trace Creek in Glenallen.
