Name has not changed

To the editor:

I am the president of the New Home Cemetery Association I want to make sure that your readers know that the name of New Home Cemetery on County Road 256 off Route PP east of Puxico, Mo., has not been changed. Here is a portion of the minutes of the Stoddard County Historical Society meeting held Aug. 22:

"During the business portion of the meeting, it was brought to our attention that a cemetery in the book "Cemeteries of Stoddard County, Missouri 1839-1992" is named incorrectly. On Page 501 of the cemetery book, New Home-Morgan Cemetery should be listed as just New Home Cemetery."
